new book by 10th generation
Acadian, Alan Melanson, and his
Texadian wife, Durline, who is
editor of The Explorer. Best known
for his popular Candlelight
Graveyard Tours and daytime
National Historic District and
Acadian/Mi’kmaq Tours, Alan’s
ancestors settled the Melanson
Settlement in 1657, now a national
Historic Site. He has a fascinating
