Fort Anne Heritage Tapestry in Annapolis Royal

LET'S WORK TOGETHER

The exquisite Heritage Tapestry (pictured above), designed by Kyoko Grenier-Sago, is on display at Fort Anne National Historic Site in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. It is approximately 18 feet wide and 8 feet high -- an excellent example of what can be accomplished when dedicated individuals work together. Over 100 community volunteers put in 3 million needlepoint stitches to depict the 400 years of history in the Annapolis Royal Area, one of Canada's oldest permanent European settlements.
